A Link To Another Inquiry

I am posting a link that is a webarchive record of a forum thread at a site that no longer exists, called conspiracytheorycantina, which was a smaller forum of individuals who had at one point frequented godlikeproductions and lunaticoutpost. The names may sound a little funny, and I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but this was a source that had something similar to what I am trying to do, a thread to discuss nobody threads as a phenomena itself and why it exists. I even visited that forum and spoke to some of those members before it closed.

Here is the link:

I will post screenshots later, and discuss this thread in more detail. I wanted to present it as an example to show I'm not the only or first to have concerns and questions about these threads. So that for a thread like that to be present at the time would show that up to that point there had already been grounds for these concerns.

The obvious problem that goes with these concerns is the relative obscurity of both the threads and the websites, despite the level of activity associated with each, that prevents newcomers from not only recognizing what the environment is, but also from finding information elsewhere that would pertinent to the reader's judgement on the content itself.

That is to say, information about these threads come form just that, the threads themselves, and these websites for the most part, something internalized and without external reference and therefore worth suspicion or skepticism. This is without getting to these same conditions that may be ascribed to those websites themselves, but that is another story.

So the question that I have had, is then who would make and support these threads and why, and why keep it only to these websites? Was there a goal? Was it having to do with any kind of special interests or agenda? As in, could something be funding the intensity of the activity and/or server space that would be involved? Was there collection of data, including personal data? And, to my later suspicions, could there be anything criminal or foreign adversity that is at work, whether or not the proprietors were involved or aware?

These questions have more or less become more important to me in more recent times in retrospect of many of the events that have happened in the world over the past many years, things to do with politics domestic and international, social trends, technology trends, surveillance and information, and other more unusual topics. I will elaborate in future posts on what might be correlations between these and some things having to do with these threads and websites.

I feel it has become my burden to do so because I just happened to be someone who witnessed things others out there that haven't, so that anyone out there can avoid the complications or suffering that I have observed during my journey through these. It consider it the right thing to do, a courtesy as well as public good. It's difficult for me to say whether I should have done this sooner but I do think now that it is better to do so sooner than later.
